I don’t know how many people know this, but my great-aunt died just the other day, right before Mother’s Day. She didn’t have much money, we don’t have many family members left connected to her, and in order to save her body from being put in a wooden box and into an unmarked grave, we must figure out a way to gain $1,200 to get her cremated so she can be buried with her mother.

She’s my grandmother’s older sister, and had been the last living sibling out of nine. And I’d hate for any family member to be buried in a wooden box, especially since it wasn’t her dying wish. I’m doing this for my family.

If you care to help out at all, you can do it two ways:

On the check, make sure the memo says “Helen Bagerly” so they know it’s to go toward her. And if you send cash, put a note in the envelope stating that it’s for her. And be sure to let me know if you do this so we can make sure it’s received. Just tell me your name and the amount.

Or you can go to my theme blog and click donate to me at the bottom, and then just send me a message telling me that’s the purpose. Or you can send me something to mandalger@gmail.com and put “Helen Bagerly” as the reason for the gift.

If you happen to donate, you can send me your name and address and I will send you a thank you card in time. I will be sure to make sure that you really did contribute something before I send one.

This PSD is very simple, just as my other one. It’s mostly to brighten up those darker images and give them vibrant colors. It works best for those dull images, that are dark, but not too dark. If you use too dark of images, most of the dark parts will disappear. If you use light images, it might make the images a bit too bright and blinding. You need to experiment!

I have tested it with multiple images; some it looked great with (such as above), and some it didn’t look so great with. So keep in mind: PSDs don’t always work for all images!

R.I.P ♥ RMS Titanic (April 15, 1912)
100th Year Anniversary

100 years ago on April 10, 1912, the most beautiful and luxurious ship set sail to America. But on April 14, the RMS Titanic hit an iceberg, and early April 15, sunk to the bottom of the Atlantic. Over 1,500 people were lost this day, being over half of the passengers on the ship.

Let us all take a moment to remember this beautiful ship that we will never have the pleasure of witnessing with our own eyes; and to remember the souls that were lost at sea. RMS Titanic, you will never be forgotten.
